I’m Austin, I live in Charlotte, NC, just bought my first home, and somehow talked myself into converting my detached garage into a golf simulator. Still not sure if that was the smartest first home improvement project, but here we are.
YardtoGreen started because I kept wishing there was a place that covered all the stuff I was actually thinking about as a new homeowner who loves golf. How to build a simulator without overspending. What tools you actually need when you first move in. How to take on garage and yard projects without calling someone for everything.
This site is basically me documenting all of it as I go.
Some of it I’ve done myself like the garage simulator build. Some of it is stuff I’m researching because I want to do it next. And some of it is gear and products I’m genuinely interested in and have dug deep on so you don’t have to. I’ll always be upfront about which is which.
